Director, Global Compensation Lead – KPMG US
KPMG provides audit, tax, and advisory services for organizations in today’s most important industries. This role is part of the KPMGI International organization and will lead the design, implementation, and administration of global compensation programs for over two thousand secondees, ensuring alignment with member firm compensation principles and KPMGI's business objectives.
Salary Range (California): $155,000 - $311,000

Responsibilities- Design, implement, and administer global compensation programs for over two thousand secondees in alignment with member firm compensation principles and KPMGI's business objectives.
- Adapt compensation frameworks to align with global business objectives, member firm guidelines, local laws, industry standards, and market trends.
- Collaborate closely with local HR and compensation teams to ensure consistent application of compensation principles and policies across global locations.
- Work with the Finance Business Planning team to forecast and manage the compensation budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost control.
- Employ advanced analytics to evaluate global compensation trends and organizational requirements and provide data‑driven insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.
- Minimum twelve years of recent experience in global compensation management, focusing on strategic planning, modeling, implementation, and transformation across multiple international markets.
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university or certification as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field required.
- Experience with HRIS and compensation management software (such as Success Factors), along with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Power BI.
- Deep understanding of compensation principles and practices in a global professional services or similar complex organization.
- Exceptional communication, change management, and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders across cultures and geographies.
- Superior consultative, analytical, and organizational skills; ability to think strategically and link action plans to critical business priorities.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employment‑based visa sponsorship. KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity.
