The Campus Recruiting Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving the growth of Matthews Real Estate Investment Services (MREIS) by owning and executing the recruitment process for entry-level Real Estate Agents/Associates across our 30+ offices nationwide. This position is ideal for a dynamic and relationship-driven individual who thrives in a high-volume recruiting environment focused on engaging recent college graduates. You will act as the front-line ambassador of the Matthews brand on campuses and at recruiting events, helping identify , attract, and nurture top sales talent entering the workforce.

This is a highly visible role that will require cross-functional collaboration with Market Leaders (MLs), Associate Market Leaders (AMLs), the Sales Enablement team, Marketing, and Operations to deliver a world-class candidate experience.

This position is based in our Nashville, TN office.

Responsibilities

Recruitment Strategy & Execution

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for the Real Estate Agent/Associate role posted on the Matthews Careers page.
  • Partner with Market Leaders across 30+ U.S. offices to identify hiring needs and align campus strategies.
  • Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) records and deliver regular reporting on pipeline activity.
Campus Engagement & Event Management

  • Own the strategy, scheduling, and execution of on-campus and virtual recruiting events at key target universities.
  • Manage registration and logistics for career fairs, speaker sessions, networking events, and sales competitions.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with college career centers, faculty, student organizations, and internship programs.
  • Coordinate shipping, collateral, branded materials, and promotional items for recruiting events.
Candidate Experience & Brand Ambassadorship

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective junior agents; deliver an outstanding candidate experience from first interaction through offer stage.
  • Promote Matthews’ unique sales culture, training programs, and career growth opportunities to recent graduates.
  • Develop candidate communication content and messaging in collaboration with Marketing.
  • Champion the Matthews brand on campus and online, including Handshake, Symplicity, Linked In, and other platforms.
Process Management & Reporting

  • Track and report recruiting KPIs, including pipeline volume, conversion rates, and time-to-hire.
  • Collaborate with Finance to manage recruiting budgets and expense tracking related to travel, career fairs, and promotional efforts.
  • Support broader talent acquisition initiatives, including CRM/data entry, sales trainee programming, and process improvement projects.
Administrative & Sales Training Support

  • Coordinate onboarding logistics for summer intern and new hire classes, including collateral preparation, scheduling, and event coordination.
  • Assist with summer training activities (mixers, speaker events, room setup, catering).
  • Support ad hoc needs from Market Leaders, especially related to junior talent engagement.
Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in campus recruiting, sales recruiting, project coordination, or a fast-paced administrative role.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel domestically for recruiting events (approx. 20–30%).
Preferred Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Experience engaging early-career professionals or recent college graduates.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and recruiting platforms (Handshake, Salesforce, Linked In Recruiter, etc.).
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate assessment tools (e.g., Predictive Index).
Salary Range – $50,000 – $80,000
