Our client, located in Nashville, TN is looking to add a temp to hire Human Resources Assistant to their team. This is a great opportunity to join a multi-site, multi-state organization and grow within the HR field.
Human Resources Assistant (temp to hire)
Pay: $26-$28/hour
Location:
Nashville, TN (near the zoo)
- Maintain accurate HR electronic records and perform periodic audits (HRIS, payroll, workers’ compensation)
- Produce reports and research HR data as needed
- Respond to routine HR questions regarding benefits, hiring, training, and HRIS; escalate complex issues to senior HR staff
- Assist the HR Director with orientation, benefit enrollment, and general HR administrative tasks
- Provide support to other departments (Accounting/Finance, Sales, President) as needed
- Assist with planning and execution of company events, meetings, and employee engagement activities
- Research HR best practices, industry trends, and applicable state laws
- 3–5 years’ experience working in HR, with exposure to multiple HR functions (payroll, HRIS, benefits, general HR operations)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma required
- Ability to work an on-site schedule
