Director Human Resources Business Partner – North America Outlook
Hitachi Energy is seeking a Director HR Business Partner for our North America Distribution Transformers business. This remote‑based position prefers candidates in an eastern or central time zone and reports directly to the Senior Director HR Business Partner for the North America business unit.
The Distribution HR Business Partner is accountable for the overall HR contribution in close partnership with factory HR Business Partners to deliver the strategic and operational HR roadmap of the Product Line.
As a key member of the Distribution management team, you will collaborate with management to/class set the people strategy, develop talent outcomes, support business goals and initiatives by overseeing and driving relevant people capabilities and organizational effectiveness in collaboration with factory HR Business Partners.
Key Responsibilities- Set and implement the HR roadmap for the product line in alignment with the global business unit and the North America HUB people strategy covering culture, competence, and organization.
- Partner closely with Factory HR Business Partners to align and oversee talent management, succession planning, and workforce development to meet organizational goals.
- Build performance culture, KPIs, and targets to enhance business performance.
- Identify development activities to build and improve competence in collaboration with the talent and learning team, ensuring a healthy and sustainable talent structure, including recruitment, succession planning on business‑critical roles, and diversity and inclusion.
- Utilize HR analytics data to understand key organizational dynamics and foster data‑driven decision‑making and action planning.
- Implement and ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to HR execution; share functional best practices and lessons learned across the Product Line.
- Travel up to 50% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, labor law, organizational behavior or a business‑related field and a minimum of 10 years of Human Resource Business Partner experience, including manufacturing and leadership experience.

- Experience in a fast‑paced, global, multinational matrix environment.
- Experience in industrial or labour relations is a plus.
- Strong track,引記 record in organizational and talent development as well as capability building.
- Flexibility, strong team working and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical skills, data‑driven decision‑making; translates strategy to actionable plans and aligns HR objectives to business needs, following through to ensure completion.
