Systems Administrator

• Installs and maintains all operating systems, utilities, compilers and network software on all computer/server platforms.
• Manages and supports DNS, DHCP and all Windows Active Directory Schema and Infrastructure across all College domains.
• Manages, installs and supports all imaging document systems and applications.
• Works collaboratively with faculty to support the academic computing environment.
• Manages disk storage on all platforms.
• Provides technical support to faculty and staff.
• Establishes standards for accounts and adds accounts when approved.
• Monitors systems performance and adjusts system parameters as needed.
• Monitors system usage for unauthorized access attempts and reports violations to senior management.
• Works collaboratively with computer technicians in the planning, distribution and installation of all software components and network infrastructure.
• Manages, supports and maintains Windows-based Web Servers.
• Manages, maintains and supports vCenter, virtual machines and virtual infrastructure.

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2 years’ experience managing Windows Servers and VMware

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4 years’ experience managing Windows Servers and VMware

Knowledge of data processing and network concepts and hardware and software architecture. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, faculty, staff and students.

$53,420.00 to $66,774.00 annually, depending on experience
