The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is recruiting a Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that satisfy customers’ technical requirements and business objectives. You will collaborate closely with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements, assess existing infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As a trusted advisor, you will provide industry and technology guidance, lead implementation, ensure adherence to best practices, optimize performance, and manage risk throughout the project lifecycle.

This role requires an active TS/SCI government security clearance with polygraph and the willingness to obtain additional clearances as needed for government projects. The position is located in Seattle, WA, and requires in‑office or customer‑site presence at least one day per week; it is not a remote role.

• Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, and consulting experience with distributed applications.
• 3+ years of experience with software development tools and methodologies.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

• AWS experience, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Cloud Formation).
• AWS Professional level certifications such as Solutions Architect Professional or Dev Ops Engineer Professional.
• Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python).
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards such as HIPAA and GDPR.
• Strong communication skills, enabling clear explanation of technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, networking, and technology/software sales consulting.
• Professional experience architecting, deploying, and operating solutions on AWS, including migration or transformation of legacy systems, and managing highly available data‑center operations with federal government security requirements.

Competitive base salary:
Colorado $131,300 – $177,600 annually;
National $118,200 – $204,300 annually. The package includes sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
