Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Snowflake Architect with a strong consulting background to lead the design, development, and implementation of Snowflake-based data platforms for our enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Snowflake and cloud data ecosystems, strong client-facing skills, and a track record of delivering scalable data architecture solutions across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Architect end-to-end data solutions on Snowflake, including data ingestion, transformation, governance, and access control.
- Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and translating them into scalable Snowflake-based architectures.
- Implementation Leadership: Oversee the implementation of Snowflake solutions and guide technical teams across ETL/ELT, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Data Integration: Work with various data sources (structured, semi-structured) and third-party tools (e.g., Fivetran, dbt, Informatica).
- Best Practices: Establish Snowflake development standards, CI/CD pipelines, and ensure data security, compliance, and cost optimization.
- Workshops & Presentations: Lead workshops, PoCs, and technical presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior team members on Snowflake and data architecture best practices.
Required
Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
, including data modeling, performance tuning, and data sharing features. - Proven experience working in a consulting environment
, managing client expectations, and delivering solutions across industries. - Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and experience with cloud-native services.
- Proficiency in SQL
, Python
, and ETL/ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Matillion, Informatica). - Experience integrating Snowflake with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with data governance

Preferred Qualifications:
- Snowflake certification (e.g.,
Snow Pro Advanced: Architect
) - Experience with data lakes

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
