Who we are and what we doThe Data Use Analyst supports the Data Use Team in conducting essential data support activities to facilitate the department's data‑driven decision‑making process.
How you make a difference in this roleWith guidance from the Senior Director, responsibilities include maintaining critical data assets, conducting exploratory analyses, fulfilling data requests, and supporting team logistics.
Job OverviewThe department seeks an individual skilled in data analytics, statistical programming, and collaborating with program teams to provide data products for critical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth exploratory analyses of assigned datasets to identify data quality issues and calculate summary statistics.
- Present findings to the team.
- Perform data cleaning as needed, collaborating with team members.
- Document data cleaning protocols and business rules.
- Complete recurring state and federal reporting requirements.
- Fulfill internal and external data requests timely and accurately.
- Provide additional data support to program teams.
Education and Experience:
Master’s degree in education, education administration, or related field; 5+ years of educational work experience, including 3 years of education administration or supervisory work.
