Position OverviewThe Solution Architect will play a critical role in supporting the sales team by delivering consultative value to clients. This individual will guide customers through technology decisions, provide feedback on their current plans, and promote Info Systems’ solutions — including products and services — through a collaborative, client-focused approach. While part of the Services/Delivery team, the Solution Architect will work closely with sales representatives during customer engagements.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with sales representatives to understand client needs and deliver tailored technology solutions.
- Conduct consultative discussions with clients to assess current technology strategies and recommend improvements.
- Promote Info Systems’ portfolio of solutions, including products and services, to enterprise and commercial clients.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions that align with client objectives.
- Provide technical expertise during pre‑sales activities, proposals, and solution design sessions.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends to advise clients effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful solution delivery and client satisfaction.
- Establish credibility and trusted relationships with customers, prospects, team members and partners.
- 5 - 10 years of practical experience in IT architecture or related roles.
- Expertise in modern data center and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Strong knowledge of networking/WAN designs across multiple locations and data centers.
- Familiarity with Security, Compliance, AI, and Automation/Orchestration technologies.
- Experience working with enterprise clients (Fortune 100) and commercial organizations.
- Exposure to multiple industries and business environments.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Proven ability to connect business needs with technical solutions in a clear, approachable manner.
- Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.), networking, or security.
- Experience in container platforms and modern application architectures (Kubernetes, Open Shift, microservices, APIs).
- Experience in consultative sales or pre‑sales engineering roles.
- A track record of continuous learning, staying current with emerging technologies in cloud, security, automation, and AI.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex solutions to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills, easy to engage with for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to build trust and credibility with clients and internal teams.
- Strategic thinker who can align technology solutions with business objectives.
- Balances performance, scalability, security, cost, and operational complexity in solution designs.
- Takes ownership of solution outcomes, not just design artifacts.
- Demonstrates curiosity and a proactive approach to learning new platforms, tools, and industry trends.
