This is a direct-hire role with our client. This is a hybrid position (in-office 4 days per week), with the work location in Downtown Nashville, TN. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the Product function within a specialized technology group focused on alternative investments. This high-impact position reports directly to the Head of Technology and is responsible for driving product strategy alignment across multiple business areas.
The role includes managing a team of eight direct reports, primarily Business Analysts. Additionally, this leader will chair a Technology Steering Committee, overseeing coordinated planning and execution across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Primary Duties- Own and execute the product vision, roadmap, and delivery strategy across the platform.
- Lead and mentor a team of 8 BAs and POs, ensuring strong execution, collaboration, and stakeholder alignment.
- Partner with technology and business leaders across five verticals to define and prioritize key initiatives.
- Chair the cross-vertical Technology Steering Committee, driving organizational alignment and transparency.
- Guide the full product development lifecycle, from strategy through launch and optimization.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and senior stakeholders to drive delivery of impactful solutions.
- Act as a product evangelist and thought leader within the organization.
- 7+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally within financial services or investment-related domains.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams of BAs and POs.
- Strong cross-functional leadership, with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
- Deep understanding of product lifecycle management, agile methodologies, and product delivery frameworks.
- Proven success managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives with measurable outcomes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with comfort engaging executive-level stakeholders.
- Familiarity with financial technology tools, systems, and business workflows.
- Experience working alongside technical teams, with an understanding of software development processes.
- History of participating in or leading technology governance or steering committees.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and execution skills across multiple parallel initiatives.
