Role
Senior Scientist specializing in Claims and Real-World Data, responsible for designing, transforming, and ensuring the quality of claims-derived data products linked to molecular information, supporting cancer and broader disease research.
Responsibilitiesown claims data transformation logic, validate linkages with molecular data, establish data quality frameworks, serve as a technical expert in claims data, and collaborate on data harmonization with clinical sources.
RequirementsPhD, MSc, or MPH in epidemiology, biostatistics, health informatics, or related field; 5+ years' experience working with administrative claims data in health analytics; expertise in claims variable derivation, claims-to-clinical/molecular linkage, and HIPAA compliance; proficiency in SQL and Python or R; strong communication skills.
Preferredoncology real-world evidence experience, familiarity with electronic medical records, molecular diagnostics, data governance, and dataset versioning; experience supporting data partnerships or studies.
High-Valuefocus on healthcare analytics, claims data, linkage to molecular diagnostics, and real-world evidence for cancer research.
Work Setupprimarily remote; occasional travel (~20%) required, with some evening/weekend hours.
