Job DescriptionReporting to the VP of AI for Motorola Solutions, the Principal Technical Program Manager ‑ Computer Vision will be a critical, high‑impact leader who thrives on turning highly ambiguous concepts into enterprise‑scale Computer Vision solutions. They will be responsible for defining and driving the strategy, roadmap, and measurable success of our core Computer Vision Platform. This role is pivotal in partnering with internal product leaders to define the platform's requirements and drive the adoption of central AI models and foundational AI infrastructure across Motorola's product portfolio.
This includes technical program management for our enterprise‑scale cloud and edge AI platforms, ensuring our AI investments translate into quantifiable, improved customer and business outcomes. This role also includes product ownership for select end‑to‑end computer vision‑based products.
The Principal Technical Program Manager will own the strategy, definition, and roadmap across the following core areas, with an emphasis on the Computer Vision Platform:
- Platform Product Strategy &
Roadmap:
Define the vision, strategy and roadmap for the Computer Vision Platform, ensuring alignment with Motorola Solutions' overall product portfolio and strategic business goals. - Internal Partner Management & Alignment: Serve as the primary product leader for the platform, engaging with internal product leaders and teams across Motorola to understand their computer vision needs, define platform requirements (APIs, capabilities, scalability), and drive adoption of platform services.
- Product Definition & Requirements: Author high-quality Market Requirements Documents (MRDs), Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), and user stories for core platform capabilities (e.g., model serving, data pipelines, edge‑to‑cloud synchronization) and for select end‑to‑end computer vision products.
- AI Model Lifecycle Ownership: Own the product lifecycle for central, reusable computer vision models and foundational AI infrastructure, from ideation and research collaboration through deployment, adoption, and deprecation.
