The Consultant, EHR Advisory Services establishes Wellvana's EHR advisory function — an internal professional services capability that helps partner practices configure their electronic health record to actually support value-based care. Where Wellvana's interoperability team moves data between partners and Wellvana, this role goes upstream into the partner's EHR and shapes how care is documented, prompted, and captured at the point of care.

This is a certified builder position. This role serves as Wellvana's resident Epic expert and, where partner agreements permit build access, performs configuration directly:
Express Lanes and Smart Sets that make high-value Annual Wellness Visits fast and repeatable, Healthy Planet registries and care gap workflows, health maintenance and BPA logic that surfaces open quality measures, and documentation tools that support accurate risk capture. A defining expectation of the role is reusability — every build performed for one partner should be packaged into guides, configuration templates, and turbocharger-style accelerators that can be deployed rapidly across the rest of the Wellvana network.

The ideal candidate is a multi-certified Epic builder who is equally comfortable in a build session and in front of a physician-owner explaining why a workflow change will change their shared savings. This is an individual contributor role and the first hire into a new function, with the expectation of establishing the practice and growing into leadership of it as the function scales.

This first hire is scoped to Epic, which accounts for 60% of Wellvana's attribution today; the function itself is designed to expand to other EHR platforms as our partner mix broadens, rather than remain a single-vendor capability.

• Serve as Wellvana's Epic Subject Matter Expert for Partner Organizations
• Act as the primary advisory resource for partner clinical, operational, and IT leaders on Epic configuration in support of value-based care; interpret partner build decisions, identify gaps and risks, and recommend specific, prioritized changes to their environment.
• Conduct EHR Assessments and Deliver Optimization Roadmaps
• Perform structured reviews of partner Epic environments — workflows, build, reporting, and end-user adoption — and produce written findings and phased roadmaps that tie each recommendation to a specific value-based care outcome such as AWV completion, care gap closure, or risk adjustment accuracy.
