ARCO/Murray National Construction is seeking a highly motivated Concrete Project Manager who is passionate about the design/build construction process to join our team in the Nashville market.

• Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of project from the earliest stages of preconstruction through project closeout
• Work closely with clients and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings and project budget
• Participate in the proposal meetings to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, provide value engineering ideas, and negotiate contracts & fees
• Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout process for all trades and vendors
• Identify and investigate opportunities to procure material and/or specialty equipment directly when advantageous to project budget or schedule
• Work with Project Superintendents to develop and review scopes of work/contracts, project schedule, and site logistics plan
• Lead preconstruction planning meetings with all designers, subcontractors and vendors aimed at solving potential constructability, sequencing, and/or manpower issues
• Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
• Track and manage project performance vs budget; prepare owner pay applications, cost status, and progress billing reports

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Concrete Management or related field
• 5+ years of construction management or engineering design experience on large scale concrete projects
• Previous experience leading tilt-up or structural concrete projects in the industrial or commercial sectors
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project
