Role OverviewThe Sr. Supply Chain Partnerships team at Checkr is dedicated to advancing strategic partnerships with courts and other external vendors. This role focuses on aligning supply chain initiatives with day‑to‑day operations to enhance overall business performance, driving Checkr toward its goal of optimizing supply chain operations while fostering strategic value.
Responsibilities- Vendor Relationship Leadership:
Lead the development and execution of strategic partnerships with vendors and courts, serving as the senior liaison with external partners. - Collaborative Contract Strategy and Development:
Partner with Strategy and Procurement teams to negotiate and plan contracts, conduct audits and drive contract innovations. - Performance Management and Accountability:
Assess vendor and court success, provide feedback and implement corrective strategies for continuous improvement. - Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs):
Oversee planning and leadership of strategic QBRs, integrating vendor performance with corporate goals. - Incident Response
Collaboration:
Key stakeholder in the strategic framework for external incident management, refining long‑term mitigation strategies. - R&D Strategic Alignment:
Lead collaboration with Product and Engineering teams to embed vendor insights into R&D initiatives. - Strategic Initiatives Leadership:
Champion transformative projects that enhance operational efficiency and deepen vendor partnerships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in vendor management, supply chain, or similar role in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
- Team‑collaborative ability across functions to integrate strategic initiatives.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage complex projects.
- Experience in the technology or background check industry.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements affecting procurement and vendor contracts.
- Familiarity with Supply Chain Management software and tools.

One of Checkr’s core values is Transparency. Salary ranges are disclosed based on geographic cost of labor. For Denver, CO: $95,000 – $112,000 USD. For Nashville, TN: $87,000 – $102,000 USD. Further details will be specified in recruiting discussions.
