Job Description:The General Manager will oversee daily business operations and serve as a key partner to senior leadership. This role focuses on executing operational strategy, driving accountability, and supporting department leaders to ensure the organization runs efficiently while maintaining its strong culture.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day operations to support efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
- Partner with department leaders to implement and maintain consistent operational processes.
- Support senior leadership in executing company strategies and operational initiatives.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
- Review financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate on company-wide and departmental budgeting and resource planning.
- Monitor performance metrics and recommend or implement corrective actions as needed.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and future growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, clients, vendors, and partners.
- Participate in performance reviews, compensation discussions, and employee development planning.
- Support hiring efforts, interview processes, and workforce planning decisions.
- Address employee relations matters, including coaching, corrective action, and terminations.
- Represent the organization externally at meetings or industry events as needed.
- Proven experience in operations management, general management, or senior leadership roles.
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to influence and hold teams accountable.
- Experience improving operational processes in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Working knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed, practical business decisions.
- Background in live entertainment, venue operations, or event production is strongly preferred.
