Manufacturing Process Engineer (1st/2nd/3rd Shift)

Headquartered in Nashville, TN, August Bioservices is a privately‑owned, high‑growth Contract Development Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) that partners with pharma and biotech companies to provide drug discovery, formulation, and manufacturing services. We are expanding our state‑of‑the‑art facility and are looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support our manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement.

• Serve as the first point of escalation for GMP Line Technicians, responding to equipment issues and troubleshooting in real‑time.
• Drive process and equipment enhancements through Management of Change (MOC) initiatives.
• Act as SME liaison for MSAT core teams during new customer program onboarding.
• Coordinate with Automation, Facilities, and external vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
• Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect changes in equipment operation or functionality.
• Provide training for operators and technicians on process and equipment changes.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in GMP manufacturing with hands‑on troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and engineering software tools.
