Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Ashland City, TN
Salary: $95,000-$105,000 + yearly bonus opportunity
Schedule: M-F
Position OverviewOur manufacturing client in Ashland City, TN is currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving process improvements, identifying and eliminating inefficiencies, and supporting small capital projects that contribute to cost savings and production optimization. This is an excellent opportunity for a self‑motivated engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys making a direct impact on manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and downtime
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to address production issues
- Design and execute small capital projects focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including production, maintenance, and quality to enhance workflows and resolve bottlenecks
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend process changes based on data‑driven analysis
- Support new equipment integration and ensure smooth implementation
- Prioritize multiple projects independently while meeting deadlines and business objectives
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
- Proven experience with production process improvements and optimization
- Strong background in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Excellent project management and time management skills
- Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities
- Comfortable working independently and in a team‑oriented environment
