Qualified mixer or batch maker candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be able to work their shift, overtime, and weekends as required.

The tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, rework, preparing packaging, packaging product, food manufacturing, and other duties as assigned by supervision. Follow mix instructions and provide clear concise documentation of production work.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic understanding of Food Manufacturing Automation processes, tools, and machines, including:
  • Recipe construction/adjustment and understanding
  • Knowledge of process flow and tracing flow and lines throughout the process
  • Understanding basic mix variations (salt content, moisture, color)
  • Operate and tend machines to mix or blend a wide variety of food products such as edible oils, dressings, margarines, spreads, shortenings, cooking sherries, vinegars, cooking wines, etc.
  • Monitor and regulate gauges, recording instruments, flow meters, and thermometers to adjust raw materials and mixing parameters to maintain product quality and ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Operation of CIP skids in addition to breakdown and cleaning of line components
  • Knowledge of chemical handling procedures and required PPE
  • Fill out appropriate documentation regarding product movements, batch sheets, and ingredient additions
  • Basic understanding of pumps, valves, and filter changes
• Successfully pass qualification test and must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights.

  High School Diploma or equivalent
• Related
  
  Experience:
  
  0–2 years of related experience (mixing machine operating, blending, food industry or manufacturing experience)
• Must be able to work overtime when needed
• Rate: $20 per hour

• Must consent to background screening, physical, drug screening, and lift test.
