** Three 12-hour shifts per week; 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule
** Highlights:** - 34-bed Post-Op Medical/Surgical unit with 6:1 patient ratio
- Tech support available on day and night shifts; unit secretary coverage 7am-7pm
- Meditech documentation system with comprehensive equipment including IV pumps, telemetry, SCDs, continuous pulse oximetry, feeding pumps, PCA, EKG machines, bladder scanners, and iMobile communication technology
- Facility certifications include Comprehensive Stroke, ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center, and Certified Chest Pain Center
- Patient-centered care approach with bedside shift report and family involvement in care planning
- Floating policy prioritizes contract labor first, followed by rotation system
** Requirements:** - Active RN license in good standing- BLS certification required
- Med/Surg experience preferred
- Proficiency in IV starts, basic wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
- Strong ability to prioritize care and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) required
