American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room Float Pool position requiring a minimum of 2 years circulating experience and prior travel experience.

• OR Float Pool position in a 1000+ bed Level 1 trauma hospital
• Facility has a 56-bed OR (inpatient and outpatient) and 5 procedural rooms
• Patient population includes all service lines except cardiac, transplant, and trauma/neuro
• Case types include neuro, trauma, general, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant (liver, renal, pancreas), robotic, hybrid rooms (cysto, bronch, lead extraction), ambulatory ortho, burn, and hepatic-biliary
• Adult patient population only; no pediatric cases
• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week
• Days of the week worked will vary based on unit needs; no block schedule available
• Late stay requirement up to four times during a 13-week period
• May float between operating rooms but not between facility locations

• Active RN license (TN state or compact) required on file at time of consideration
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room circulating experience required
• Scrub experience not required
• Prior travel nursing experience required

• Interview process includes IVS screening followed by hiring manager interview
• Limited time off approved; must be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius at a reduced rate
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
