** Applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team. Collaborates in establishing patient goals and evaluates progress to ensure effective outcomes. ** About the position
** 9 South is a 22 bed unit with a ratio of 1:6. We care for adult patients requiring  post-operative care for surgical procedures, including:  
• urology  
• GYN surgery  
• colorectal surgery  
• other surgical services
** SHIFT**:
This is a full time night shift position from 7:00p - 7:00a, three times per week for a total of 36 hours per week, to include some weekends.

** WHAT YOU'LL NEED
*** At least 1 year of RN experience
* Nursing degree
* State or Compact License (TN license within 60 days of getting TN address even if compact license)  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
* Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
* Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
* Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
