Pharmacy Technician – Kroger Mountain View Foods

Provide exceptional customer service to help people live healthier lives by treating customers and employees fairly, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment, and delivering the right products and services on time with accurate pricing. Execute direct patient interventions within the scope of state and federal laws, demonstrating Kroger’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify management.
• Perform ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers.
• Adhere to company guidelines on computerized inventory management and medication control.
• Maintain departmental standards, keeping work stations and customer waiting areas clean and organized.
• Count, measure, and prepare specified products using best practices.
• Complete billing procedures to assure best value for customers and the company.
• Answer phone calls, triage inquiries, and respond appropriately.
• Follow guidelines for vendor coupons, cash shortages, and shrink.
• Operate cash register and handle cashier policies, including electronic transactions.
• Provide efficient reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing.
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities that do not require professional judgement.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Support company health and wellness initiatives.
• Put away legend orders, including Central Fill deliveries.
• Work cooperatively in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflict constructively and cooperatively.
• Maintain honesty and integrity regarding confidential information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Meet minimum state requirements for the position.

• Previous comparable experience.
• Experience as a pharmacy clerk.
• Familiarity with EPRN.
