Position Overview

We are seeking a hardworking, energetic, and team-oriented Barista to join our team at Junie’s Coffee Café in the Motto by Hilton. Our cafe is an integral part of our guest experience, providing a high-quality locally sourced coffee program, delicious pastries, grab & go breakfast items, and exceptional customer service.

• Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and other beverages.
• Operate coffee-making equipment and maintain cleanliness of the equipment.
• Assist in the stocking and serving of pastries and other grab & go food items when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately when needed.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations.

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• A passion for coffee and a desire to learn more about the craft.
