What You’ll Be Responsible For as an Outside Sales Representative

You’ll be the local face of Defined Digital Marketing — building relationships with business owners, and helping them elevate their online presence with strategic social media.

Business Development & Prospecting
  • Visiting 10–15+ local businesses per day within a Nashville‑area territory
  • Cold calling, walk‑ins, email follow‑ups, and text outreach to set appointments
  • Performing strong needs assessments and matching prospects to the Socialite Package
  • Conducting virtual and in‑person discovery calls
  • Presenting and pitching the Socialite Package (we train you thoroughly)
  • Closing new accounts and growing your recurring book of business

What You Need to Win in This Role

We’re looking for someone confident, adaptable, and hungry — someone who lights up when they walk into a business and introduce themselves.

Must‑Haves
  • Proven sales experience (door‑to‑door, B2B, agency, or service‑based sales preferred)
  • Confidence in cold outreach: walk‑ins, calls, emails, text
  • Strong communication and follow‑up skills
  • Organized, driven, and self‑motivated
  • Valid driver’s license and local travel availability
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales goals
