Regional Sales Representative

Base Salary: $80,000 per year, plus performance-based bonus opportunity

Territory: Baltimore/Washington, Eastern Pennsylvania, and Tennessee

We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Regional Sales Representative to drive new business development and revenue growth for our freight forwarding and third-party logistics (3PL) business.

This individual will be responsible for developing new customer relationships, expanding our regional market presence, and selling domestic and international logistics solutions to businesses across a variety of commercial and industrial industries.

The territory includes Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) and the greater Baltimore area, Washington, DC, Eastern Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing a multi-state territory, generating new leads, traveling to meet prospective customers, and building a sustainable pipeline of profitable business.

• New Business Development: Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers across the assigned territory.
• Territory Management: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan covering BWI/Baltimore, Washington, DC, Eastern Pennsylvania, and Tennessee.
• Solution Selling: Promote freight forwarding, air and ocean freight, domestic transportation, warehousing, distribution, customs brokerage, and integrated 3PL solutions.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build relationships with supply chain leaders, logistics managers, procurement professionals, and executive decision-makers.
• Market Expansion: Target commercial and industrial customers in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, electronics, consumer goods, retail, and other non-medtech sectors.
• Sales Pipeline Development: Generate leads, conduct prospecting activities, prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and close new business.
• Revenue and Profitability: Achieve established sales goals, with an emphasis on new customer acquisition, revenue growth, and gross profit.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to develop competitive solutions and ensure successful customer onboarding.
• Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, territory plans, and customer activity reports.
• Regional Travel: Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet customers, develop prospects, and identify new business opportunities.

• 3+ years of B2B sales experience in freight forwarding, 3PL, transportation, or supply chain services.
• Proven track record of prospecting, acquiring new customers, and closing business.
• Working knowledge of domestic and international freight forwarding and logistics solutions.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage a multi-state territory and prioritize opportunities effectively.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory as required.
