The Security Shift Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day physical security of Saint Thomas Sports Park while consistently providing the soundest and best customer service experience possible.

• Plan, coordinate, and direct activities such as patrol of the physical property, monitoring system response, and personnel. Disseminate information to the security team with regards to post orders, revisions, and daily event/non-event needs.
• Responsible for roaming all areas of the facility
• Assist with the security screening operation of the facility
• Respond to and provide command and control of any emergency incident that may arise
• Maintain and implement fire safety, emergency preparedness, and life safety policies and procedures in the event of an emergency incident
• Monitor the performance, conduct, and attendance of all security staff assigned by the outside vendor
• Operate CCTV and all security programs and technologies used at the facility
• Interact with Saint Thomas Sports Park employees, visitors and vendors in a courteous and professional manner
• Work closely with all departments on their safety and security concerns as well as guest management
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) eligible preferred
• CPR/First Aid/Stop the Bleed and AED training preferred

• 5-7+ years of experience in security, law enforcement, fire/medical service and/or military experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills with strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to take direction and execute assignments
• Ability to perform well under pressure, including strong ability to multitask
• Ability to work within a team and independently
• Must possess a working knowledge of computers and software programs including Microsoft Office.

• Must be able to bend and lift objects necessary to perform primary duties
• Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
