Job Description
Garda World Security Services is now hiring an Armed Tactical Security Officer – Sargeant. Ready to suit up as a tactical armed security guard? The role requires the ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Physical ability to patrol, move throughout the shift, and respond to incidents is essential.

Full‑time evenings, Monday through Friday, 2 pm to 10 pm - Competitive hourly wage of $24.18 (Daily Pay available for Garda World employees)

Responsibilities of Tactical Armed Security Guard
- Patrol sensitive areas and spot suspicious activity
- Verify identities and control access to secure areas
- React quickly to threats or incidents
- Check functioning of alarms and cameras
- Document incidents and actions taken
- Respond to alarms and conduct on‑site checks
- Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
- Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property
Qualifications of an Armed Tactical Security Guard
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Pass an extensive screening process
- First aid certification (asset)
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
- Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle report
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Military, law enforcement, or armed corrections background preferred
