As a Security Guard - Armed Utility Patrol in Nashville, TN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This armed and driving post involves protecting assets and ensuring safety at the utilities location.

Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM;
Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
• Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and/or incidents.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or unusual situations at the utility location while carrying a firearm as required by post assignment.

• At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
