• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as appropriate.

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual circumstances.

• Monitor for hazards or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.

• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and greeting visitors as needed.

• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and observations.

• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters.

• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents within the utilities environment.

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
