As a Security Officer – Museum Patrol (Unarmed) in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a cultural institution by monitoring and patrolling designated areas, deterring security‑related incidents, and maintaining a highly visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, deliver outstanding customer service, respond to emergencies, and document incidents in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activities and report any suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas within the location to deter theft, vandalism, or other prohibited activities.
• Document and report security‑related incidents, observations, and daily activities according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or providing directions to visitors and staff as needed.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
