What You’ll Do: Technicians diagnose truck problems and perform repairs. They create repair plans, fill out parts requisitions, tag warranty parts that are replaced, and turn in parts with core value. Technicians must communicate updates to their Foreman daily and maintain organized, clean, and safe workstations.

Responsibilities & Skills Assessment:

• Apprentice Technician
  • Performs oil changes.
  • Performs brake inspections and works on brakes.
  • Performs general maintenance of the service department, including sweeping, cleaning, and other tasks as needed.
• D‑Level Technician
  • Basic chassis repairs.
  • Basic engine repairs.
  • Performs chassis remove & install.
  • Performs preventative and/or maintenance.
  • Competent in internal/factory warranty processes.
• C‑Level Technician
  • Basic diagnostic skills.
  • Comfortable with major vendor/factory.
  • Can perform most chassis repairs.
  • Can perform engine accessory repairs.
  • Performs complete engine remove & install.
• B‑Level Technician
  • Advanced diagnostic skills.
  • Complete engine repairs.
  • Complex chassis repairs.
  • Knowledgeable on all vehicle component repairs.
  • HVAC.
• A‑Level Technician
  • Proficient on all vehicle component repairs.
  • Diagnoses all vehicle component failures.
  • Competent in root‑cause failure analysis.
  • Vibration analysis.
  • Aftertreatment repairs.
  • Aftertreatment diagnostics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Positive attitude.
• Dedication to excellence.
• Motivated.
• Team oriented.
• Desire to succeed.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to pass post‑offer drug test and physical.

Compensation:

• $19–$42/hr, depending on experience level and certifications, plus production bonus.
