$19.00/hr – $25.00/hr

• Inspect Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hose, Emergency, Exit Lights, and Kitchen Hood Suppression Systems
• Service any Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hoses, and Emergency and Exit Lights requiring maintenance
• Sell new Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hoses, and Emergency and Exit Lights
• Ensure customers understand the products and systems we maintain on their property
• Interact with customers, vendors, and co‑workers in a professional manner
• Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices
• Maintain an open‑mind willingness for continual learning
• Follow all Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values
• Perform any other duties deemed appropriate by management

• 1 year of mechanical and customer service experience
• Pass drug and background screenings
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• State licensing requirements and vendor certifications (if applicable)
• Valid driver’s license

• 1–3 years of Fire Life Safety experience
• Route sales or sales experience
• Fire Extinguisher Vendor Certifications

• Able to safely use general hand and power tools
• Must be able to use a cell phone and mobile app effectively
• Lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.; push and pull more than 75 lbs.
• Climb ladders up to 12 feet and use a man lift for service
• Exposure to outside weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noise
• Requires the ability to talk, hear, sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms

New hires must complete the I-9 Verification form within three days of hire. The U.S. Department of Justice, Immigration and Naturalization Services, and E‑Verify systems are used to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States.

Background checks are conducted with criminal courts, state and county repositories, and the Department of Motor Vehicles for all positions.

Urinalysis tests for substance abuse are required if an offer of employment is produced.
