HVAC Controls Technician

, an HVAC, hydronics, sales, and service organization, is seeking a BMS Controls Technician. The Maintenance Technician role is responsible for troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning BMS and HVAC systems.

• Troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning BMS and HVAC systems.
• Program and commission BMS systems to meet project requirements and customer specifications.
• Installing VAV, Unitary, and custom control sequences in accordance with company standards.
• Start-up and commissioning of complete building automation systems.
• Perform a point to point checkout of per standard procedures.
• Properly addressing both TCP/IP networks and RS-485 communications.
• Diagnose communication and performance issues with BACnet protocol.
• Maintain system documentation, including programming files, drawings, and sequences of operation.
• Additional duties as required.

• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in HVAC controls and building automation systems.
• Proficiency in Niagara N4 platform and graphical programming.
• Extensive experience with at least one major building automation system:
  Johnson, Trane, or Distech.
• Strong controls troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of multiple HVAC control protocols (BACnet, Lon Talk, Modbus, Niagara).
• Deep operational understanding of commercial HVAC equipment, AHU’s, VAVs, boilers, chillers, etc.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
