TEKsystems is actively seeking experienced Cable Technicians to support large-scale commercial projects throughout Nashville, including the new Titans Stadium and major Opryland Hotel additions.

• Pulling and installing Cat6, Cat6A, and Fiber Optic cabling
• Installing Cable Pathways Including
  • J-Hooks
  • Cable Tray
  • Conduit Supports
  • Ladder Rack Systems
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings
• Terminating
  • Faceplates
  • Jacks
  • Patch Panels
• Running jobs independently and solving problems in the field
• Communicating project updates to site leadership
• Leading and directing helpers on-site
• Interfacing professionally with customers and project stakeholders
• Troubleshooting structured cabling and connectivity issues

• Strong experience pulling and installing voice/data cabling
• Structured cabling experience in commercial environments
• Ability to read blueprints and work with minimal supervision
• Experience leading helpers or small crews
• Customer-facing communication skills
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
• Experience using hand tools, drills, and construction equipment

• Fiber installation experience
• Audio Visual (AV) installation experience
• Commercial electrical background
• Stadium, hotel, healthcare, or large commercial construction experience
• Low voltage certifications or manufacturer training

• Long-term project stability

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
