Non-CDL Delivery Driver / Service Technician – Direct Hire

Location: Nashville, TN
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift | Monday-Friday
Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical certifications or vocational training in Electrical Technology or a related field are a plus.
• Relevant hands-on experience, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to learn are highly valued.

Experience Requirements

• Previous delivery driver, service technician, installer, maintenance technician, handyman, or field service experience preferred.
• Prior box truck driving experience required.
• Six months or more of delivery driving experience with box trucks, cargo vans, Sprinter vans, or similar vehicles preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, lighting products, dimming controls, or residential construction is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills.
• Experience working in customer homes, luxury properties, or providing white-glove service is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.
• Professional appearance and the ability to represent the company positively in customer-facing environments.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, carry, maneuver, and install lighting fixtures, window shades, tools, and installation materials.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform installation work throughout the day.
• Ability to safely load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, and at customer job sites.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work while protecting customer property and maintaining safety standards.

Job Duties

• Operate a non-CDL box truck and make local deliveries to homes, businesses, and job sites throughout the Nashville area.
• Assist lead installers with the delivery, assembly, installation, and testing of luxury lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, motorized shades, and automation products.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, mount, adjust, and service products.
• Perform service calls, diagnose issues, and complete minor repairs and adjustments after training.
• Assist with motorized shade installations, setup, and troubleshooting.
• Provide exceptional white-glove customer service during deliveries, installations, and service visits.
• Educate customers on product operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate service records, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Keep vehicles clean, organized, secure, and properly maintained.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and installation standards.
