Oracle invites applications for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure team focused on delivering cloud services for the media production industry.

Possible office locations: Austin, Texas;
Broomfield, Colorado;
Nashville, Tennessee.

You will have the opportunity to solve complex technical problems and contribute to the development, delivery and operation of cloud services that enable delivery of novel consumer video applications. The charter is to design, implement and operate a new set of cloud services dedicated to digital media production, including virtual animation workstation service, digital asset management, high‑performance storage, render farm as a service, license management and production pipeline management services.

You will help build a competitive offering from the ground up and extend the reach of OCI to green‑field opportunities in the media and entertainment industry.

• Design cloud services with focus on availability, scalability, observability, and testability.
• Implement, validate and document services and their component microservices.
• Collaborate within the engineering team to deliver and operate cloud services that enable animation, film and game development studios to run their production workflows in the cloud.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry best practices, ensuring compliance and driving innovation within the organization.
• Launch new cloud services and establish operational excellence.
• Work collaboratively to realize and achieve the technical vision of the team.
• Engage with geographically distributed engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with software development standards, processes, and best practices.

• BS/CS or related field with 3+ years of modern software development experience.
• Experience with enterprise‑scale software development, especially cloud services and distributed systems.
• Domain knowledge of media production pipelines (digital asset management, 3D frameworks, rendering workflows, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with geo‑distributed teams.
• Training and experience in software implementation, code and design review, failure root‑cause analysis.
• Designing for availability, observability, scalability, testability, and recoverability.

Salary Range: US: $79,200 – $178,100 per year, eligible for bonus and equity.
