Join Canonical as a Software Engineer focusing on Linux, Python, and web services. Canonical is a leading provider of open‑source software, including Ubuntu, used by enterprises worldwide.

Remote – Americas region.

• Collaborate with a distributed team to design, develop, and maintain the Landscape SaaS management platform.
• Write high‑quality Python code, modernize the codebase, and add new features.
• Demonstrate strong commitment to code quality, automated testing, and code reviews.
• Own problems, design and deliver solutions, and assist with release management.
• Work remotely, with global travel 2–4 weeks for internal and external events.

• You love technology and working with brilliant people.
• You are curious, flexible, articulate, and self‑motivated.
• You hold a Bachelor’s or equivalent in Computer Science or STEM.
• You have proficiency developing public‑facing APIs and web applications, preferably using Python.
• Experience with Python web frameworks such as Flask and Django.
• Experience with Postgre
  
  SQL and ORMs.
• You are comfortable deploying and developing on Ubuntu.
