Senior Software Developer – Oracle

Location:

Nashville, TN (relocation available).

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, debug, and design software applications or operating systems per specifications.
• Enhance existing software architecture and suggest improvements.
• Apply basic-to-intermediate software architecture knowledge and participate in standard processes.
• Collaborate across teams, communicate effectively, and demonstrate ownership.

Basic Qualifications:

• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithm design.
• 4+ years of total experience in software development with at least one object-oriented language (Java, C++, C#, JavaScript, Go, etc.).
• Systematic problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, sense of ownership, and strong drive.
• Experience with microservice design patterns.
• Exhibits behaviors consistent with OCI values.

Additional Qualifications:

• BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
• Experience performing moderately complex problem solving with guidance in applying company policies and processes.
