We are seeking a detail-oriented Java SDET with a strong focus on testing to design, develop, and execute automated and manual test solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in test strategy, automation frameworks, and quality assurance practices, with hands‑on Java experience to ensure high‑quality, reliable software delivery

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java
• Create and execute automated, integration, API, and regression test suites
• Perform manual testing when required to validate complex scenarios
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand functionality and risk areas
• Validate API testing using tools/frameworks such as REST Assured
• Participate in code reviews with a quality‑first mindset
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and track them through resolution
• Ensure adherence to QA standards, best practices, and SDLC processes
• Support CI/CD pipelines and ensure automated tests are executed as part of builds

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in software testing with strong Java automation exposure
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java

  , TestNG/JUnit
• Solid understanding of testing concepts, methodologies, and QA processes
• Experience in API testing (REST Assured, Postman, etc.)
• Experience with manual testing and exploratory testing
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber (preferred)
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle
• Experience testing microservices‑based architectures
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
• ISTQB or relevant testing certifications

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Excellent attention to detail with a testing‑first mindset

Clear communication and collaboration skills

Ability to challenge requirements constructively and advocate for quality
