At Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), we are building the core cloud services that power modern enterprise applications. The AI Data and Dev Platform Strategy team focuses on building and scaling systems that enable Large Language Models (LLMs) and agent‑based AI applications to run reliably and efficiently in production environments.

We collaborate closely with product, infrastructure, and research teams to develop Oracle’s next‑generation AI systems. As a Senior Software Engineer (IC3), you will be responsible for developing and maintaining key components of our LLM‑serving and agentic AI‑based SaaS application. You will collaborate with fellow senior engineers to implement scalable services, automate deployment processes, and ensure operational excellence in production environments. This hands‑on role is ideal for engineers seeking to deepen their expertise in distributed systems and AI infrastructure engineering.

• BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of software development experience in backend or cloud environments.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages:
  Python, Go, Java, C++, or React, Vue.js, Svelte for frontend.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, micro services, and cloud‑native architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and container‑based deployments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• MS in Computer Science or related field.
• Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure or LLM serving technologies.
• Interest in distributed systems, observability, and scalability challenges.
• Willingness to learn from senior engineers and contribute to high‑impact projects.
• Experience in Lang Chain and/or Lang Graph is a plus.

• Collaborate with product, design teams to ensure delivery of high‑quality, intuitive, and reliable AI‑driven application experiences.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving application issues, enhancing performance, and ensuring application availability and security, particularly in the context of AI model integration.
• Write maintainable, well‑tested code, and actively participate in code reviews, documentation, and architectural discussions related to Generative AI workflows and system design.

Hiring Range in USD from: $79,200 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
