We are looking for engineers with distributed systems experience. You should have experience with design of major features and launching them into production. You’ve operated high‑scale services and understand how to make them more resilient. You work on most projects and tasks independently. You have experience working with services that require you to abide by security, compliance, and regulations.

The ideal candidate will own the software design and development for major components of Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure. You should be both a rock‑solid coder and a distributed systems generalist, able to dive deep into any part of the stack and low‑level systems, as well as design broad distributed system interactions. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.

• 7+ Years of industry experience in software engineering
• 5+ years experience with React, Java script, Type Script, HTML, CSS
• 5+ years experience building and integrating with RESTful APIs
• Solid CS fundamentals – algorithms, data structures, distributed systems and history of creating Java script/Type Script web applications
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Experience with ES6/ES6+
• Experience with Linux/UNIX fundamentals
• Experience with other languages including Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with functional programming concepts
• Experience with cloud platforms
• Self‑driven, able to take ownership of complex features and support junior engineers to deliver results on time
• Strong communication skills, including cross‑team collaboration

Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 - $223,400 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

• Paid time off:
  Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non‑overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.
  
  Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
