School Bus Driver – Up to $30/hour to start, guaranteed 7 hours per day

Job Summary: A bus driver is a person who, under the supervision of a manager, supervisor, dispatcher, or trainer, operates a van or bus over designated routes transporting school pupils, or clients to and from school or other locations. In addition, a bus driver may transport clients on private charter trips. Bus drivers may work with loud and disruptive clients. Drivers may also work with special needs individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Transport children to and from school.
- Foster and maintain a safe environment.
- Drive assigned routes accurately and efficiently.
- Observe and obey all traffic rules and regulations.
- Follow assigned safety rules and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Check for students that might remain on board in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines.

Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE VALID TENNESSEE CDL-B LICENSE WITH P AND S ENDORSEMENTS.
- Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to commit to a split shift schedule.
- Minimum of 25 years of age.
- Ability to pass background check with no more than 2 moving violations and one at-fault accident in the past three years.
- Passion for working with children.
