Class A CDL Delivery Driver

Central Woodwork is a very employee oriented Millwork in the Berry Hill area of Nashville who is looking to find dedicated employees whom are looking for growth and tenure within an organization. We offer competitive pay and benefits to all.

• Must be able to work the required shift. Work times are based on the deliveries scheduled and route being taken. All routes are currently day trips only
• Must be on‑time and prompt for working assignments
• Must wear area specific PPE and follow all safety rules and regulations
• Must be willing to handle product in order to hand off to the customer
• Must be a team player and flexible in work assignments
• Must have a Class A Driver's License with prior road experience
• Must be willing to drive a Truck/Trailer, box truck or Flatbed in the Greater Nashville area, or from Nashville to following greater areas:
  Bowling Green, Birmingham, Knoxville, Chattanooga
• Must have knowledge of EDL guidelines
• Must take and pass post‑offer screening drug test, physical and consent to a background check
• Millwork product knowledge helpful
• Material Handling experience helpful
• Ability to read, write and speak English well

• Deliver product to businesses, construction sites and homes
• Unload product into designated areas
• Document what is being delivered
• Must work as a team to accomplish task in a timely manner
• Maintain quality control standards by checking items as unloading
• Reporting any product issues or concerns back to the Logistics Manager
• Properly maintain all EDL's

• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
• Must be able to stand/sit for long periods of time and be able to bend and reach overhead
• Must be able to work under deadline pressure as organizational skills are the key to finding and providing merchandise quickly
• Must strive t increase their knowledge of the product and the millwork business

• Must be able to work in all weather conditions (i.e. rain, snow, cold, heat)
• Job site conditions may be slippery, wet, bumpy surfaces depending on the site
• Extended work day as needed

• Work Boots

• Work gloves for material handling
• Lunch box or lunch tote to bring lunch
• All weather gear for rain, snow
• No hooded sweatshirts with strings
