Nashville Lift Airport Driver

Responsibilities

• Gather all necessary equipment for assigned flights.
• Interact with Customer Service Team Members as well as flight attendants and other airport operations members to identify and resolve complications daily.
• Comply with standard operating procedures (SOP) in regard to driving, position the unit at aircraft, secure work platform, loading and unloading carts on and off the aircrafts.
• Safely operate a company box truck to transport goods and materials.
• Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled carefully.
• Secure cargo properly before transportation.
• Followed assigned routes and delivery schedules.
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Perform basic vehicle safety inspections before and after trips.
• Report any vehicle maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to safely load and unload goods.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Strong attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and follow directions.
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to work as a part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to push and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to load and unload carts in various types of weather.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
