The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting and maintaining all aspects of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, storage, cycle counting, and operating warehouse equipment. The role supports manufacturing operations to ensure tasks are completed on time, in compliance with GMP, EHS, and Company quality systems, and requirements. The Warehouse Associate will support the supply chain teams and warehouse operations.
Responsibilities- Receives, checks, and verifies inbound materials in the facility
- Stores material in appropriate storage areas; assists with warehouse cleaning and organization to meet safety and quality requirements
- Fills internal requests for material and delivers materials to various destinations within the facility
- Uses material handling equipment (pallet jacks, sit-down and stand-up forklifts) to move materials, unload, and load trucks
- Packages items for safe transport and arranges shipment of outbound materials
- Responsible for data entry related to receiving, inventory control, movement, and shipping of material
- Processes and files relevant paperwork
- Performs cycle counts and ensures inventory accuracy; reports discrepancies as directed
- Follows all Standard Operating Procedures related to daily duties
- Adheres to August Bioservices site safety and quality policies
- Maintains cleanliness of supply chain areas
- Demonstrates good documentation practices with strong attention to detail
- All other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma required
- Experience in supply chain or related discipline or equivalent
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills in a process-oriented environment
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Company-focused, respectful, high integrity, open and honest, and execution-focused
- Demonstrated team-oriented, process-oriented, and solution-oriented skills
- Some experience with ERP systems is a plus
- Ability to lift over 40 lbs
