Job Summary:

The Yard Associate interacts with the customer by greeting and assisting them in the yard area of our operation and once load is complete, thanking them for their business. This is a highly-visible position and most important the individual is personable, friendly, and courteous at all times. Building material knowledge is preferred but not required. Heavy loading, stacking, cleaning and assisting with the delivery of lumber and building materials is performed daily.

Qualifications:

• Education :
  Basic education which includes the ability to competently read and write.
• Training and Experience :
  No training or experience is required but must have writing and reading skills.
• Job Knowledge:
  Building material knowledge is preferred.
• Physical Demands :
  Work requires much physical effort; and involves little sitting, standing, walking and some heavy lifting regularly. Works in a non-air-conditioned environment.
