Position: ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - NURSING

Northwestern State University College of Nursing and School of Allied Health seeks an applicant for a 12-month full-time faculty position for the Associate/Bachelor of Science degree programs and Simulation Coordinator at our Alost Hall in Natchitoches, Louisiana beginning July 1, 2025.

A Masters in Nursing is required, however, a Doctorate is preferred (required for academic rank of Associate Professor);
Eligible for membership on undergraduate and/or graduate faculty.
Unencumbered licensure status as an RN or APRN in Louisiana; or eligible for Louisiana licensure. At least three (3) years of clinical nursing experience. At least three (3) years of nurse educator experience; three (3) or more preferred. Must be able to pass a background check and shall meet the required standards defined by the University.

Academic rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Review of applications will begin immediately. The position will remain open until filled.
