Homedica is currently hiring a reliable Certified Medical Assistant for Natchitoches, LA
. Our Medical Assistant works directly with healthcare staff, assists with patient visits, and maintains patient records in our Electronic Medical Records system.

• Medical Assistant Certification required
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience working in a healthcare practice or hospital
• Home Health experience preferred but not required
• Must be dependable
• High level of professionalism
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and follow instructions in a busy paced environment a MUST.
• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Work directly with healthcare staff
• Maintain records in EMR system
• Travel to patients homes within a 40-50 mile radius
• Utilize company provided equipment to record vitals and list medications
• Schedule telehealth visits for patients on both personal patient devices as well as company provided equipment
• Various office duties as needed
