Position: Night Shift Production Hourly

HOURLY POULTRY PRODUCTION PROCESSOR

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process product using tools (including knives), manual labor, and equipment according to USDA and Pilgrim’s standards and procedures. This involves repetitive motion, small hand movements, and standing for long periods.

Follow operating procedures to meet quality and quantity expectations.

Observe equipment operation, report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Assist colleagues with skills and knowledge gained from the position.

Adhere to all company policies on personnel, quality, safety, and food safety. Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and teamwork.

Recognize and respond to safety incidents and risks, practicing and promoting safe work habits.

Participate in process improvements and problem-solving using continuous improvement methodologies.

Follow all animal welfare guidelines.

Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

BASIC SKILLS AND

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to solve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to work in cool temperatures (around 40°F).
Ability to stand and use hands for 8-11 hours daily.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently.
Must be a team player, willing to work closely with others (less than 3 feet apart at some stations).
Good communication skills.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Food or production experience preferred.
